Tan Patina is used to achieve an opaque tan finish on all metals. It may be applied hot or cold depending on the surface. Tan Patina is often layered with other Traditional Brown Patinas such as Ferric Nitrate or Japanese Brown. It is also commonly used via a cold application on the Metal Coatings, especially iron, to produce a rust finish. It may be diluted up to 50% with distilled water for a lighter finish.
