Polyurethane Resin 

Polyurethane resin is easy to mix and process, thanks to its great flow properties. It also hardens and de-moulds quickly, so you can complete your projects in no time. Polyurethane systems offer numerous benefits, such as exceptional durability, versatility in applications, and the ability to create lightweight yet strong materials.

We have a range of PU elastomers ideal for various applications including props, parts, moulds, skins, potting, mounts, rollers, and SPFX. This fast set system helps produce rapid prototypes and parts. Or check out our polyurethane foams in both soft and rigid formulas. Suitable for soft parts, puppets, most SPFX applications, backing up latex skins, and more. It’s great for low density parts when allowed to free rise. Higher densities may be achieved with restricted or closed moulds.

Our rigid polyurethane resins include fast set, medium and slow set work times. They come in white, beige, translucent and black colours. A pigment may be added, but a true tone cannot be achieved. An advantage of using rigid polyurethane is its ability to be sanded, drilled, and polished. Specialty products include high impact resistance and patternmaking formulas. Water Clear Polyurethanes once vacuumed will create optically clear parts. There are both rigid and flexible formulas to choose from. These resins are easily pigmented to achieve a true tone.

We also have additives such as an accelerant, UV stabilizer and anti-foaming agents. Don’t forget the Poly Purge air blanket. Spray before resealing to displace moist air and extend the product life.
