Aluminium Granules are commonly used as a filler in resin moulds for vacuum forming and low pressure injection. Imparts high strength and minimal distortion. It is commonly mixed with Epoxy Resin and Polyurethanes. Aluminium Granules is also used with resins to create a cold cast metal effect. The granules are mixed with the resin and then buffed or sanded once cured, creating a speckly grit finish. Please note that the colour of the metal particals may vary between batches and can change over time due to oxidisation. If you require a consistant colour, please order a quantity that is large enough to complete your project rather than buying smaller quantities as you need it.
